Exposure Therapy consists of a series of exercises performed by the individual to mediate fear and anxiety of certain thoughts, images, etc. I am very scared of flying, so for this project, I had volunteers perform negative and positive exposure therapy on the fear of flying and had them record their reactions. I also spent three weeks exposing myself to images and articles on the subject of plane crashes (as most of these images are what I think of when I think of flying), and then also did the exposure therapy exercises. The pencil drawings in the book are images I drew from memory and are the images that appear in my head when I perform the exposure therapy exercises.
